Had coffee here twice and breakfast bowls once. Both were excellent. The bowls were fresh, tasty, and very reasonably priced.
Coffee was excellent the first day and just ok on the second try. It’s all about the barista. On our second day, I had to have my drink redone twice and it still wasn’t right. Barista had a terrible attitude about it sadly. I chalked it up to her having a bad day (maybe because of me!). Overall highly recommend.
The place has a very nice courtyard and ambiance.
A coffee oasis!
This beautifully open-space coffee shop offers one of the most unique ambiences in all of downtown Santa Barbara. The sheer visual spectacle of it alone is a marvel - we asked if they do other events here and, unsurprisingly, they do! It is such a refreshing space and what a treat to visit on even a busy morning. Perhaps the most beautiful coffee shop I’ve ever been to.
And of course - the drinks were amazing. I personally tried their espresso and was delighted that the standard of their coffee matches the standard of their ambience. All were pleased with their drinks, and worth mentioning their coffee cocktails selections as a standout. Definitely unusual but just one more element to add to the wonder of this place!

Caje has such a chill and relaxed vibe. It's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some quality coffee and food. The laid-back atmosphere and comfy seating make it a great spot to hang out with friends or just spend some quiet time alone.
I can't emphasize enough how grateful I am for the amazing staff at Caje. During my visit, I accidentally left my purse behind, and it was a moment of panic. However, the staff at Caje showed their exceptional dedication and kindness. They not only noticed my lost purse but also went out of their way to help me get it back from a neighboring shop after their business hour. This level of care and service is truly remarkable, and it made my experience at Caje even more memorable. Your exceptional service and great coffee made my day. Thank you!
It’s a beautiful spot to get a cup of coffee. The quality of espresso is great! The interior is playful yet elegant. There is an outdoor patio. I tried special Caramel Pecan latte with house made almond milk, it tasted really good!
The barista made the most perfect coffee latte, he totally nailed it! Highly recommended!
I thought I already wrote a review, guess it didn't get saved. Exceptionally pleasant courtyard with fountain. Good coffee, but I prefer the coffee at Renaud across the street. They have some yummy food here, I have enjoyed the breakfast burrito on multiple occasions.
